The Kanak garden is in favour of Krishna's Vrindavan, and it resembles a good scenic view that will keep up the mood of visitors. It is built 280yrs ago by maharaja Sawai Jaisingh for recreational purposes. It depicts the garden of Rasleela by Krishna and gopikas. The traditional garden is surrounded by the Aravalli mountain range. Geographically it is located very beautifully that the shooting of many songs and films has done here till now. There is a 1.3m tall statue of Krishna and brass Radharani.
There are varied types of carvings latticework carved that will take your whole centric attention. This garden is a masterpiece for the king and queen to spend quality time with.
There are migratory birds such as Spotted doves, Neel Kanth and kingfishers. The nearest places to visit are Amber fort, Nahargarh fort, Jai Garh, and Jal mahal.
How to reach there?
It is 11km by road from the city centre, and from the airport, it is about 51km and 23km from the railway. So it is good that you travel by road, and it is advisable to travel by vedanshi cab, and you can book online for less waiting and hassle-free ride of the Jaipur.
